4 Tools I use to Schedule Social Media Content (Updated March 2019)
Today, I'm sharing with you 4 tools that I used to schedule social media posts for myself and clients.
Planoly
Complete game changer! I use the preview and analytics features the most. I love moving posts around to make sure my feed looks just right! With the free version, you can see weekly stats. With the paid version of Planoly you can see monthly and yearly stats. You do have to manually post after getting a notification.Update 3/7/19: I still love Planoly. I have the paid plan and love it. The paid version includes a discover feature which saves time finding content to curate or good users to regram.
Facebook Publishing Tools
I schedule Facebook posts for clients and myself in this tool. You can schedule up to 6 months in advance worth of content. This ideal for clients so they can preview and approve what is coming next.Update 3/7/19: I linked my business Instagram with my Facebook business page so I don't use this tool anymore. Whenever I post on my Instagram feed and/or story it is also posted on my Facebook Page. Saves so much time.
Twteetdeck
Pretty simple to use. Just like with Hootsuite, but you can schedule UNLIMITED tweets. You can schedule your tweets up to 6 months in advance. You can literally copy and paste the tweets to recycle them and just change the hashtags. This saves a lot of time trying to create new tweets to promote the same product or service.
Gamblr
I use Gamblr to upload video from my computer to Instagram directly. It doesn't let you preview how it will look on your phone, but it is free and pretty simple to use.All of the above solutions are free. If you do not want to log into 4 different platforms to schedule posts than I would suggest Hubspot or Buffer. Hootsuite has undergone a lot of changes, but I stopped using their services a while ago.Update 3/7/19: I upload my videos to Planoly or Google Photos then just download them to camera roll and post them. Haven't used Gamblr in months.
Bonus: All-In-Ones
CoSchedule and SproutSocial are awesome all-in-one schedulers. A little pricey, but very worth it to schedule your social content around your blog posts. With CoSchedule you can schedule tweets to share your blog posts a week, 2 weeks, 1 month and 2 months in advance. In SproutSocial, you can schedule unlimited posts and they are auto-posted. You can also reply to comments inside the platform. What do you use for scheduling/ uploading your social media posts? Thanks for stopping by!Best,Erica
