Why No One Is Liking Your Stuff on Instagram (not the algorithm)

You put a lot of time into creating the perfect post.  May even have been planning the perfect feed.  Only to have it not even earn a heart (11 likes). Why is no one liking your stuff on Instagram? Some of these may be obvious, but a few might surprise you.  I promise not to mention that algorithm that everyone is bitching about.

Your Profile is on Private

This may be obvious, but you'd be shocked how many people have businesses they are actively trying to promote on a private page.  How are potential clients supposed to see the awesome products you have if they can't see your feed?I've even seen these private pages attempt to use hashtags.  Newsflash: You won't be found in search, because no one can see your shit.

You Post Every Blue Moon

People forget that social media is like micro-blogging.  If you aren't active on your account for awhile, some may wonder if your business still exist.I am guilty of this.  I neglected my business Instagram for a good month.  People I knew in real life started asking if I still designed stuff. Why would they think that?  They got so used to seeing footage of projects I was working on.  I would post multiple times a day on IG stories and at least once a day on my feed. Why no one likes your stuff on Instagram - social media - epartnersmarketing

You Don't Like Anyone's Stuff

Social Media is well...social.  You can't expect a lot of likes if you aren't liking anything.  Don't be a narc. LOLYou have to at least like the people that follow you's content.

Your Posts Suck

Ouch!  That hurt.Your posts are all over the place.  A cluster fuck of pop culture with a sprinkle of "Oh yeah I can help you with blah blah blah".  At some point you have to decide if your feed will be a news channel or start making sales for your business.

Your Posts Has a Huge Watermark in The Middle

Understand that when anyone sees your post with a Shutterstock or Canva logo in the middle they are whispering about you.It sounds like "OMG, did you see what Ashley posted?  WTF.  Is she that cheap she couldn't pay the dollar to use Canva's picture?" followed by hyena laughter.Sorry for the cussing.  Psychologists have said that people that cuss are more honest ;)What do you think? Thanks for stopping by!Best,Ericaepssignature3
